The rug underneath, is actually a construction play mat, which represents my own personal 'creative deconstruction'. The toys on the rug represent the big ideas that I take away with me.

The words created a visual that one could also take meaning from. I am grateful to have been part of so many wonderful and rich conversations. I feel inspired and energized from connecting with all of you amazing educators! Thank you Kelsey, you helped me to feel heard, connected and supported through this very informative PD. You created a space which allowed me to be able to reflect on what I have been doing and let go of what is no longer serving my students or myself. I love to doodle so I used it to share my reflection. The workshop was such an enriching experience that it's tough to justify it by doodling all of it so took the key points that are surely going to be a part of my learning journey from here on. I am truly grateful to you creating a safe space for all of us to share our passion towards early years and also a big thanks for clearing my doubts at each stage. 
I am thankful to the other participants as they were open to share some of their great practices. It helped me to develop a new perspective to look at teaching and learning in different context. 
I am looking forward to go back and share these with my team and apply it in my homeroom.

I was inspired by the story The Circles Around Us by Brad Montague. I also played around with a little poem to celebrate play!

Play is the key to childhood fun,
It's how we learn and how we run.
We use our minds and bodies too,
To explore the world and make it new.

From blocks to dolls, from games to sand,
We build, we imagine, we take a stand.
We learn to share and take our turn,
To make mistakes, and from them, we learn.

Play is the joy that fills our day,
It helps us grow and find our way.
