Population Change

Population growth is one of the key concepts of human history now. There are used to he one billion people in 1800, but mow there are more than eight billion people on earth. Meaning that the growth of our population are very fast in these past years.

There are several factors that determines population growth, fertility, mortality, migrations. In November 2022, experts predicted that our population will reach its peak in 2080, by ten billions. Although population growth is walking side by side with the increase of death rate, but its still lower than the birth rate.

Climate Change

Climate change is a changes of weather which character is permanent and long term. It can be natural, but now the changes is mostly because of human activities, due to burning of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and gas. Human are responsible to the global heating in the past 200 years.

Not only affecting the temperature, but because of it was interconnected with other system. It also cause another problem such as, rising sea level, melting ice in Antarctic, and water scarcity.

Population Change and Environmental Sustainability

As the population rising, it will also help to fasten the climate change, with how many demand on needs increase.

There are several ways to face this challenge:

1.) Renewable Energy

Energy such as solar, windmill, and hydropower can minimize our reliance on fossil fuels. Investing in renewable energy can reduce our carbon footprints and create healthier environments

2.) Sustainable Agriculture

Using organic materials can minimize chemical usage, decreasing soil erosion, and other environmental harm. This will also provides nutritious food.

3.) Conservation Efforts

Creating protected areas, reforestation, responsible hunting, can balance wild life nature ecosystems and human metropolitans environment
