He's very loyal to her as long as she would be by his side. Athena always has a responsibility to help his son. She was commonly thought to be wearing body armor and a helmet while holding a shield and a lance. "As the guardian of the welfare of kings, Athena became the goddess of good counsel, of prudent restraint and practical insight, as well as of war" (Encyclopedia Britannica). This quote talks about how she has helped many Gods become the guardians of many kings. Athena is also worshipped by many people because she has protected many kings and Gods.
