         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1st period planning &amp; 5th period Medical Detectives with Ms. Cabrera</strong></div><ul><li>Ms. Cabrera and I&nbsp; experimented with the power of the Classroom Notebook we created last time.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>During 5th period</strong></div><div>Introduced the Medical Services Classroom notebook to the students and described the importance of using Office 365 for professional use only. Students were able to log in immediately to explore the Notebook.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Gave them this challenge: </strong>&nbsp;</div><div>Digitize (take a picture of everything you create) or hyperlink any digital projects in their personal space in the Medical Services notebook to create an electronic portfolio.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Creative solutions:</strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><ul><li>Took a picture with their phone and emailed it to their school account.&nbsp;</li><li>Downloaded the One Note app and inserted it directly to the app. It was synched immediately!&nbsp;</li><li>Downloaded the One Drive app and uploaded the image.&nbsp;</li><li>Learned keyboard shortcuts because right click solutions weren't working.<br><br></li></ul><div><strong>4th period</strong></div><div><br></div><div>Worked with Ms. Giordano to show her the power of One Note Classroom Notebook as a Math coach. We designed one with all of her 11 math teachers as her students. She will think about using it and let me know next time Friday when I return.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><strong>2nd &amp; 3rd period students &amp; 7th period planning with Mr. Thomas</strong></div><ul><li>Observed class structure and took images for the 3rd period Class Notebook</li><li>Add sections and images to STEM 3rd period notebook to be introduced to 3rd period</li><li>Introduced the Notebook whole class as one student demonstrated on the projected computer screen.</li><li>Defined the importance of writing online and their new permanent record.</li></ul><div><br></div><div>During planning, we reviewed the potential of the Classroom Notebook for classroom management and setting goals. Mr. Thomas will upload all his station directions and next Friday, I will help him use the Classroom Notebook for student input.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
