Which types of mentor texts did you engage with this week? Which one was the most interesting to you?

Podcast, the most interesting Forest 404 is set in the 24th century, after a data crash called The Cataclysm. Pan, our protagonist, is a young woman with a boring job sorting and deleting old sound files that survived the crash. It intreved me as the sounds and the intros really set the tone of the podcast and slowly shaped the story of the protagonist throughout the podcast. 

2. How did this text challenge or expand your understanding of the future
This podcast expanded my future understanding and made me always aware of my surroundings and what is to come in my life, also how technology can affect peoples lives and what it has to come in years to come.

How will technology take place in peoples lives?

Target audience is the citizens of Melbourne and the general population especially of older age such as parents, and normally anywhere of the age of 40-60. 

Magazine 2 The Time: 
Magazine Appears to Female as it attract ladies because the front cover shows a powerful model as females want to read and hear from ladies in the same age.

Magazine 3: Car

    • Story was based off on the past and what the future holds in terms of rituals, the most investing in the text was when the lottery winner won but ends up actually loosing it.
    2. How did this text challenge or expand your understanding of the future?
    The text expanded may understanding of the  future, as realising how important rituals are with family, friends and society around you and what it creates you as a person, In relation to the texts we can see the characters have different emotions depending on who they are and what they have done.
    3. Did this text raise questions, excitement, or uncertainties about the future? If so, what are they?
    Questions that raise within myself is How rituals will influence different regions and religions?

The types of speeches we connected with this week were speeches and scripts, overseeing the famous speeches of Barack Obama's Victory speech and Greta Thunberg climate change speech to the UN.
    2.  Obama's victory speech expanded my understanding of the future as it showed how far the United States had come in a political and economic status.
