In this video Jacob Clifford explains tax on producers, like excise taxes these are taxes that are imposed on goods, services and activities. These taxes can be imposed by the manufacturer, retailer or consumer all depending on the specific tax . He also shows the demand curve for different elasticity's like perfectly elastic, relatively elastic, unit elastic and perfectly elastic. He explains what each curve means and how everything effects the supply and demand curves

This video is from Khan Academy and explains how to identify tac incidences in graphs. When a tax is imposed on a market consumer and producer surplus are both reduced and that reduction becomes tax revenue. The incidence of a tax is the way in which a tax reduced consumer and producer surplus. In this video, you will learn how to identify areas representing tax incidence in a market graph. As well Khan Academy is a very reputable source, they offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.

In this video he explains how the use of an excise tax changes price level and quantity in a market, As well as the pros and cons of excise taxes and why excise taxes are used in the product market. Demonstrate how to calculate total revenue, tax revenue, net revenue, and the tax incidence in a product market, and then use labeling on the graph to identify areas of tax
incidence. Discuss how elasticity and inelasticity of demand affects the total revenue, tax revenue, and the tax incidence in a product market, and then shade in areas on the graph to in as well as highlight how to identify the areas of total revenue, tax revenue, net revenue, and tax incidence on a supply and demand graph.

In this video it explains when a tax is imposed in a market this is another example of government intervention. In this video, we explore the effect of imposing a tax on the price and quantity in a market. This is another video by Khan Academy, I have found Khan Academy to be a reliable resource as they have tons of videos explaining not only tax incidence but other content and subjects on any subject you can think of.

This website Lumen is similar to Khan Academy in the sense they both offer several subjects with videos and written instruction on how to solve equations and understand the course content you are given in school. this particular website was great for tax incidences as they gave a video that breaks down what they are, how they effect the supply and demand curve and finally visuals to help people who are visual learners.

This specific page explains the key points of the lesson which are tax incidence's, what they are how they react with different variables and whats the best way to get a larger tax revenue. They also provide videos to help walk you through the lesson and provide an easier way to learn the content.

This website is called Economics help, this website offers educational content on all things economics, for this case this website gives written explanations on whatever topic you are looking for and for tax incidences they give you graphs to look at and to see how Tax incidences effect the supply and demand curves as well they explain the elastic demand and give examples on them. They as well they give examples of the burden of tax. Overall this is a very educational website the only thing that it is lacking is videos that explain them and how they effect the graphs.

The incidence of a tax refers to the extent to which an individual or organization suffers from the imposition of a tax – it may fall on the consumer, the producer, or both. The incidence is also called the ‘burden’ of taxation.

et's look at the case where supply is relatively more elastic than demand. In terms of the standard graph of supply and demand, this means that the supply curve is relatively flat, while the demand curve is relatively steep. Suppose now that the government is considering a tax of τ:

If the tax is levied on sellers, the supply curve shifts up by an amount equal to the tax, so that the after-tax supply curve remains the same.

If the tax is levied on purchasers, the demand curve shifts down by an amount equal to the tax, so that the after-tax demand curve remains at the pre-tax level.

First of all I really didn't know/remember that much about Tax Incidences which was kinda cool to experience it again and learn all about it.
how is this topic interesting to me? when I first choose this topic I didn't know much but upon researching further into it I was able to learn that Tax incidences are a tax burden between stakeholders like buyers and sellers or producers and consumers.

if i could pass on my knowledge to someone else in my family I would probably pass my knowledge onto my father because he already knows most of this as he really likes economics and we could have an open conversations about it without me talking the whole time which wouldn't be fun for both of us.
