This article, Prooday talks about how children are becoming unable to learn in our society now a days. It says that the main reasons for this is that we have fancy technology, we get everything we want, we do whatever we want,we have limited social interaction and we have too much fun. Victoria Prooday goes on and provides many examples backing up her reasons. Such as when she says “When kids come to the classroom, they are exposed to human voices and adequate visual stimulation as opposed to being bombarded with the graphic explosions and special effects that they are used to seeing on the screens.”

1. I agree that virtual reality is more interesting than the real world

          2. I also agree that kids should go out and play more. I personally know a friend who that all he does is stay inside and play games.

           3. I disagree that kids get whatever they want because, when I grew up my parents and a lot of my friends didn't get their phone until they got into eighth grade.

	4. The last thing I agree with is that kids do need to go outside and play more. When I was a little kid I played outside a lot and kids should not be on their phones all day.

   3. This article does apply to me in various way. I do notice that sometimes I wish I could be playing video games instead of being in class. I also would rather be listening to music then listening to a teacher.

In this article, I agree with Victoria Prooday she brings up many valid points to why students don’t enjoy school and how parents need to be able to say no rather than entertaining them with a gajit of some kind. I do believe that this is harming our generation because we rather talk to someone on a device rather than in person and from that we are lacking the social interaction needed. Three points that I believe strongly support this is that kids are controlling the way that their parents choose to raise them. Such as them saying I don’t want my vegetables if they put the fight up for long enough their parents will just give in and vegetables give proteins that are essential. I agree that kids should spend more time outside rather than locked up inside on their electronics. Lastly I agree that parent should reinforce their children to give gratification to others. This article relates to me in the sense of sometimes I find myself bored at school and rather being home on my phone. Usually this is because I didn’t get enough rest last night or didn’t eat breakfast.

In my opinion, she is right. Today in America too many children are consumed by their electron devices and are deprived of social skills and time with their families. I believe she was correct on her points about how children have limited social interaction, from personal experience i know that kids think they are entitled to everything they want, and they think the world is all fun and games. I do not agree with Victoria's points about how children should begin doing tasks to stimulate their brains, the parents should allow their children to use their gadgets while waiting for a table at a restaurant but not at the table, finally I do not believe parents would allow their children to play outdoors like they did before electronics. I do believe I would be a different person if I did not have electronics in my life.

In the article it says that they need to do things that will help them in the long run whether they like it or not and that parents should in force this. Some things that I agree with from the article are that making kids wait for gratification will get them to deal with their daily problems, parents should help guide their children with their decision making, and making kids do chores to teach them responsibility will help them out in long term success. Some things I don’t agree with are to make things that are boring to kid’s positive, to limit technology, and parents that want to make every decisions for their kids.

The article titled, "Why are our children so bored at school, cannot wait, get easily frustrated and have no real friends?" is summarizing how technology is taking over our youth. Although technology has many positive aspects, it is also turning into an uncontrollable obsession. There are several points throughout the article that I agree with. One of these points include limiting technology to reconnect with children. In the article Victoria Prooday states, “Have family dinners, board game nights (see the list of my favorite board games), go biking, go to outdoor walks with a flashlight in the evening.” Another point that I agree with is to teach social skills. According to Prooday, “Teach them turn taking, sharing, losing/winning, compromising, complimenting others , using ‘please and thank you.’” As technology is taking over the lives of the youth, so it is essential to practice essential social skills. One more point that I agree with in the article is to train delayed gratification. In the article Prooday states, “Make them wait!!! It is ok to have ‘I am bored’ time – this is the first step to creativity. Gradually increase the waiting time between ‘I want’ and ‘I get’.” Why is this? With today’s technology gets have access to many things with the blink of an eye. I personally don’t disagree with anything that was stated in this article. I can relate to this article in one major aspect, I depend too much on technology. Most people of the young generations can surely agree with this. Technology is taking over the lives of our youth and it is essential to limit the use of technology for the better of the human race.

In my opinion, This article was about how overtime students became less productive in school, mainly because of what they learned at home. I agree that kids should do more chores so that they can learn responsibility, kids should not be given phones at a young age because it lessens their social skills, and kids should not get what they want immediately, they have to learn patience. In school I only lack interest based on the teacher’s teaching method, but I do tend to stop doing test or homework when things get hard, mainly because my parents have always made things easy for me.

I agree with most of what the author Poorday says. I think kids these days are very antisocial and get everything they want. I think that new parents should definitely look into the article, it does have many valid points. Such as: we give our kids everything they want, when they want it; they do not learn what patience is; they are too caught up in social media; last but not least they are antisocial face to face, they do not know how to communicate.

In this article, they talk about how children now always get what they want and when their parents ask them to do something they don’t act on it. This article gives you pointers on ways to improve your children’s skills before it’s too late. By them just doing simple acts like washing the dishes or making their bed can make a huge difference when they move out once they’re adults. I personally agree with this article, kids now, all they care about is constant eating and playing video games. They tell their parents what they’re going to do instead of getting permission from them beforehand. If a kid wants something, they get it, no questions asked. That’s how kids now are taught, if things stay like this, imagine when these children HAVE children? It’ll be even worse than it is now. This article doesn't necessarily apply just to me, but to other kids I know as well. Literally a kid could ask for almost anything and their parents without hesitating would give them whatever they desire.

What this article is saying, is that kids these days don’t really pay attention in school, or don’t really care of getting good grades, or they always feel bored and they feel like leaving. In my opinion, i agree with this article. Literally all my friends, including me, don’t really like school, because we’re too tired to wake up in the morning, and we don’t really want to learn for 7 hours. In this article it gives reasons why kids are like that these days. I picked three reasons that i agree with. The first reason is technology. Kids these days are always on their phones everyday, all day, and it can really damage your brain, and can blind your eyes for looking at the screen for too long. In the article it states that, “Technology also disconnects us emotionally from our children and our families.” I agree with this statement because children don’t really communicate with anybody of their with there phones. Parents should tell them to not use their phones when their in a social place. Second reason is, kids get what they want. This is totally true because parents don’t want to dissapoint they’re children and don’t want they’re children to hate them. But parents should realize that they are not their friends, they are their parents. Third reason is, kids rule the world. In the article it states that, “If we leave it all up to the children, all they are going to do is eat macaroni and cheese and bagels with cream cheese, watch TV, play on their tablets, and never go to bed.” I agree with this statement because we should not let kids tell parents what they want, they are children, they are not the parents. They should not make they’re own rules. Parents should teach them when NO is NO. This is my statement for this article.

Many of VIctoria Prooday's points are agreeable those include, " Kids Rule The World, and limited social interactions". Children who spend all their time indoors on their digital devices might not easily be able to grow their social skills. Kids like this become very shy and may develop issues later on in their life. Now if we allowed our kids to do what ever they wanted, then their goals will be completely severed. Prooday makes a great point in this paragraph because she emphasizes the problem that our children will do things that THEY WANT and not complete the activities that they DON'T want to do. Children in this generation must have all these social skills and limits in their life because parents only want the best for them in order to succeed.

I agree with this article because the statements made in this article all seem very true to me. Kids nowadays are really not spending enough time outside, back when I was growing up I spent a lot of my time as a child outside but now i see kids just using technology and the technology is taking away the outdoor time needed. Also, I feel like parents nowadays spoil their kids a little too much, I'm not saying it's bad to spoil your kids but when you surpass that limit is when you will see bad results in your kids learning, social etc. skills.

This article explains that kids are now getting lazy and finding no fun or interest in going to school. The article also explains how technology and other factors are influencing them the loos interest in school. I agree with the article because as a student myself. I don't have much interest in going to school because of technology and the lack of fun and excitement.

This article explains that children only come to school because they are forced to and would rather be elsewhere instead of school. I personally disagree with that statement. Children get everything they want the moment they want it and that kids rule the world. I mainly disagree with Prooday when she says, “There are no dull moments.” This article applies to me in that I am lazy, will do anything to stay moving or love getting distracted when I have to do work or always procrastinate. I do agree that parents should do more to interact with their kids. Teaching your kid to do household activities or house work will help in the long run so that they don’t turn into dumb couch slobes that don’t know how to do anything and take advantage of their parents.
