20191040 Park So Hyun

I was most impressed and liked the lecture on the 7th week of the class, "Elderly"

Recently, I learned about problems related to the elderly and also about Korea's poverty assessment for senior citizens from around the world. Also, I looked at the average life expectancy of the elderly.

This class was the best, and there are three main reasons why I was impressed.
First, the interpretation of Korea's aging economic problems (e.g., poverty) can be seen from a global perspective. An article titled 'paradigm of South Korea's population' is Korea's birthrate very, very sharply through the economic development and change and showed that an aging.
I am usually not confident in reading English. But I can find myself trying to read an article on the topic of welfare for the elderly.

Second, Professor Maria showed the related news on video.
I was able to improve my listening ability. I was shocked to see foreign news on Korea's aging population. I could feel that Korea's aging population is really serious.
It also seems to help improve understanding and interest on the subject.

Third, I was able to improve my English skills through this course. I liked the professor's method of collecting data and collecting lessons. I'm really proud to have achieved these results. So this class was the most impressive and I liked it.

And frankly, I was a little embarrassed.
But I tried to take this sadness positively. I was still poor at communicating in English, so I listened to Professor Maria as hard as I could.
I was also trying to read or write without realizing it.
Although it was difficult and difficult, speaking English often helped me improve my ability.

Compared to a week 1 class, I heard more than half of Professor Maria's lecture in the last class! I think it's a really amazing development for me.
From now on, I am not afraid of English at all, but I will try harder and study harder to overcome it.
Thank you so much to Professor Maria for making this change :)

20191040 Park So Hyun

I did my best in my last private presentation class.

Presentation class was a challenge to me.
Speaking in English is one of the tasks that I struggle with.
By the way, I heard that you gave a presentation in English alone in front of many people. To be honest, I was so nervous and scared. But I practiced speaking English a lot during this semester. through Professor Maria's lessons.
So I did my best on this final presentation assignment.
I wanted to show my changed English skills.
The contents of design and materials were meticulously prepared in PPT production.
I also produced a presentation script and practiced it several times.

I had to be careful because there are many English words that are difficult for me to pronounce.
I was nervous, but I was able to carry out all the order of the presentation, and my voice didn't seem to be small. So, the class that I did my best this semester is this private presentation class!

Therefore, the government should strive to create jobs for senior citizens.
Older people should also be respected for their human rights.

The questions that fit the subject and the questions that followed fit well together. So it was hard to find any more shortcomings, but if I had to choose one thing, I thought about whether the information from SNS could be a fact. Overall, the ppt was easy to see and neat. I want to learn enough.
