I do agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way we think and act as well as how others view us. This is because as brought out in the video, in the social experiment, when the people changed their body language to high power poses, they felt more powerful and ready to take on the next task. The opposite is true for those that did low power poses. Something similar to this happened to me. One day, I had to give a speech in front of lots of people. I was in a low power pose, for I was hunched over and collapsing within. I felt very nervous during this speech. However, when I changed my body language, I felt way more confident. Clearly, when we change our body language, we change how we think.

I do agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way you think and act and how it makes other people view you. The speaker described how powerful people tend to be more open with their body and are more optimistic and assertive. I can relate and agree with this comment since I have experienced this change. I am confident in playing video games against my cousins. This confidence has made my posture more assertive and my body language to be more open. I noticed myself being more expressive opposed to being closed as I was confident in my abilities. My cousins also were noticing my confidence through the way I handled my self in terms of body language.

I agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way you think and act because if you believe in yourself that you can accomplish a certain goal, it's highly likely you'll get it done. This can make other people view you as an overly self confident person. An example of this is when I gave up on trying to get good grades. I was slacking and it didn't bother me. However, I was capable of talking myself into setting those grades straight. In the Ted Talk, it was clear that even if you don't feel the strength to boost yourself up, pretend that you do and eventually you'll get where you need to be.

I agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way you think or act and can change people's perspectives of you. For example, if you're slouching at a job interview, the employer can think that you're lazy and not good enough for the job. If you're sitting up striaght however, the employer will think that you're confident and the chances of them hiring you will be higher.

I do agree with the idea that you can "fake it 'til you make it." What really got me to agree with this is the story the speaker shared about the girl she taught. (The one that gave an amazing answer and began to participate more in class.) She "faked it" and she changed because of it. Watching the TED talk changed the way I think about how I identify with myself because it made me think "If I fake it, if I do a powerful pose, will this make me feel better, or more powerful, in stressful situations?"

I agree with the idea that you can "fake it 'til you make it". As the video shows, the speaker kept telling herself she belonged and soon she truly felt that way. I have also felt this way when I told myself that I could do well on my English test. The TED talk made me feel that I truly can change how I identify myself. The "Fake it 'til you make it" motto has proved that telling yourself you can do something eventually lead to change. The TED talk provided real life examples and statistics to prove this statement, and I myself feel that faking it 'til you make it is possible with changing oneself.

I don't necessarily agree with the saying "fake it 'til you make it" because until a point you can't continue to fake it. Well this TED talk showed me that for one I should fix my posture more and be conscience about how I act in general.

I do agree with the idea that you can "fake it till you make it" because if you're capable of believing that you can achieve something even if it means pretending, that'll get you to accomplish whatever you gave up on. However, watching the Ted Talk did not change how I think about my identity.
