Downey used remaining open to continuous learning to achieve success because he came from rock bottom to being one of the most successful well known payed hollywood actor. He grew up being surrounded and introduced to alcohol and drugs from his father at an early age. Downey started his acting career while dealing with his addiction. This lead him to being in and out of rehab and sentenced to prison. Got fired and at the verge of bankruptcy. Took a year to address his substance abuse and to begin his recovery. Got back to his acting career landing his most biggest successful role yet as Tony Stark MCU's Iron Man. Today now he still is overcoming his addiction and staying sober. More focused and busy on his career and him and his wife film production.

I used this amazing artist because his music speaks for himself. when I hear his voice and lyrics I can relate to every bit. he inspires me to continue through out my day.His parents got separated when he was in school and his father ended up going to prison. Rod and his mother struggled terribly to make ends meet. He would have to go to the streets to earn some money, involving himself in robbery and drug dealing. out of all 16 habits of mind to achieve success options I chose remaining open to continuous learning because everything he's gone through and experienced throughout life he used that as knowledge and grew from it.

Although, there are other habits of mind Walensky used on her way to success, According to Walensky shares her journey from Art and Science to Directing the CDC, Walensky cited that, "Connecting with people on a personal level, knowing them by name and by story, listening to their needs and supporting them genuinely- as critical her success" (Ballard, 2022).
