Our percentage of contacts increased this year because we did more than the 3 contacts. When case managers couldn't make contact, Jamie went in and let ARC Chairs know that she was contacting parents and let them know what she did to get the info. In the past, our staff were not doing the detective work needed to be able to contact students. (Looking at siblings in IC and updated contact info, looking on Facebook, etc.)

Oldham- We have seniors complete a google form with their personal contact information. We started this over the last few years. We encourage ARC Chairs to contact their students because they know them have a personal connection. Last year we mailed letters to all the graduates two times so they would know we are calling. We even texted students from a google number. Our completion rate actually decreased even with all of these efforts.

This generation screens calls and won't answer if they don't know the number.

Oldham- Our plan this summer is to pay our ARC Chairs to come in to our central office to call. This will allow the multiple attempts to occur but also the calls to come from one number versus numbers all over the district. We are also reviewing flyers for YOYO at the annual review.

Even with low numbers of graduates, districts are struggling to get in contact with students and gain information

We have updated info in IC. It's a matter of phone number and address changes. We could double check before students graduate that all info is correct.

Calling students and families is an outdated method to reach families. There are more updated methods to collect this data.

People change numbers all the time, it's difficult to track down students and families.
