i will share about my understanding from today's usrah

ADAB DURING ONLINE CLASSES

-open the camera if we don't have any problem such as internet connection's problem
-give responses if the lecturer asking us
-focus in class(don't sleep,open socmed or go anywhere else)
-mute the microphone during class( if there are nothing to response)
-say thank you to lecturer when class ends

SEEKING KNOWLEDGE

1. ask someone who knows better than us

Hadith of Gabriel

Based on this hadith of Gabriel, Islam as a religion consists of three fundamental elements:

ISLAM
IMAN
IHSAN

ISLAM
Islam is the name of the religion revealed by Allah S.W.T. to Prophet MuÍammad S.A.W.
Literally, the word Islam is derived from Arabic root word (aslama) which means to
submit, to obey, to surrender. As a verbal noun, the word Islam connotes submission,
obedience, surrender or resignation to Allah the Almighty Creator.
IMAN
The word iman is derived from the Arabic word (amana) which means to render secure,
safe, calm and free from fear.
Iman consist of three elements: belief in heart, declaration
by tongue, action by limbs.
IHSAN
the word Ihsan is derived from the word ( hasana) which means to be good, to
beautify. As a verbal noun it designates the quality of being good and beautiful.

what I can conclude is
islam is more to physical actions such as performing salat
and iman is when we have a firm believe to Allah in heart
while ihsan is referring to do what is
beautiful or to make things beautiful.(in ibadah toward Allah)
not every muslim is muhsin and mukmin but surely a muhsin is a muslim and mukmin.

The six pillars of faith

1. Belief in Allah
-believe in the existence of Allah and worshipping him only.
-believe in the characteristics and the names of Allah.
-avoid doing something that can cancel our iman.

2. Belief in angels
-come from the word 'malak' that means messenger
-Allah creates them from light ,they are created only to obey Allah.
-the real numbers are not known by us.(too many)
-believe in their existence,characteristics and tasks.

3.Belief in god's revealed books
-the revealed books not only Al-quran but also zabur ,taurat and injil.
-believe that the revealed books are from Allah not written by the prophets.
-we have to believe all the stories,advice and news in the revealed books.
-we need to apply and follow all the rules in it.

4. Belief in the messengers of god
-they come bring the same mission which is to make people believe in Allah.
-we need to believe the syariat that they bring to us and apply it in our daily life.
-believe that they don't change and manipulate the instructions of Allah.
-rasul is not same with nabi.
-we also need to believe in rasul ulul azmi.

5.Belief in the day of judgement
- believe that the day will come
- that day, there are hisab for us.
-we know about heaven and hell.
-there are bounties and doom
- we only live for a while in this world ,it's not last forever.

6.Belief in qada' and qadar
-Allah knows everything including the hidden ones.
-not one thing happen without it has been written in the luh mahfuz.
- all the things that happen is because of Allah's will.

Ihsan

what is ihsan?
In hadith Jibril, Ihsan is defined as to worship Allah as if you see him for, verily, even though
you do not see Him, He surely sees you.

according to scholars,
Ihsan divided into 3,
1.Ihsan towards Allah
2.Ihsan towards other creation.
3.Do all things in the best way.

Benefits
- gain the barakah in whatever we do
-to distinguish whether the works that we do have be done in the best way or not.

Eschatology

The knowledge about the day of judgement(kiamat)

-one of the study of religion
-only Allah knows when the kiamat day happen
-there are many signs of kiamat that already heppened,happening and will happen
example;

A huge black cloud of smoke (dukhan) will cover the earth.
Acceleration of time(really happen hoho)
Frequent, sudden, and unexpected deaths

and many other else.

Adab with nature

Appreaciation to the nature and environment
actually,all the damages and pollution all because of human's activity.
because of the others' irresponsible actions towards nature,the innocent people's life who not doing it also being affected.
As a responsible person, we need to take care of this nature and make it beautiful.

This world is owned by Allah ONLY.(al maidah:120)
prohibition to not do damange in this world(al a'raf:56)

Sustainability in Islam
sustainability; maintain,take care
it is our responsible to take care of this nature.

nature gives us many benefits
it's source of our food ,water and many other else
if we don't take a good care of it, we might lose all of this benefits

I gain so much knowledge by joining this usrah.
I think usrah is really important to us as teenager ,because in usrah we will learn more about Islam.It's really help to build our inner strenght.

Adab with neighbours

When we want to enter other people's house
we need to;
ask permission and give salam

we need to respect our neighbours
if we give salam 3 times and nobody answers,
we need to go back.
If our neighbours ask us to leave, we have to leave
It's the 'adab'

Adab with family

One of the characteristics of a mukmin is he like to do charity and when he do it ,he do in the 'just' way. Not being over or stingy

people that being over while doing charity is the people that do charity to others but not to their close ones(family members)
Allah said,they are just the same with people who not doing charity.

We need to think about our family first before others.

'Hikmah doing ibadah'

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
-adh-Dhariyat verse 56

3 conditions to get the hikmah of ibadah
1.Do ibadah for the sake of Allah only(not for human)
2.Do iabadah with ihsan(determined)
3.Benefits for our physical( do ibadah in the correct way)

we need to remember that,maybe we will not get the hikmah/benefits of ibadah while doing it,,maybe we will get it a bit late,,but surely Allah will give us the benefits if we have the correct niyyah in doing ibadah.

Hikmah pillars of Islam

-can prevent us from doing bad deeds(if we perform it in correct way)
-we will always remember Allah
-feel bad to do sins

fasting
-can feel what poor people feel
-can be more grateful
-increase TAQWA

zakat
-purify ourselves
-prevent us from being stingy
-our rizq(rezeki) increase

hajj
-Performing Hajj purifies our sins
-increased Taqwa
-Those performing Hajj are guests of Allah (SWT)

salah with khusyuk

khusyuk- silent, calm and humble
when our heart khusyuk, all our body parts do the same.

why we can't khusyuk while performing salah?
-don't have feel
-no energy and spirit

how can we get khusyuk in salah?
-perfoming salah together(jemaah)
-know and understand the meaning of ayyah that we recite
-feel that it is our last salah

benefits of having khusyuk in salah

-sabr in following Allah's command
-sabr for not doing bad deeds
-sabr while facing obstacles

we need to have all of these types of sabr while fasting

Khusyu’ will contribute factor for the acceptance of prayer.
Only remember Allah while perfoming salah.
All the benefits and reward are useless if we are not devout in our prayer.
In a conclusion, a Muslim must be taking care about their prayer and do it with khusyuk.

A righteous niyyah in worship shows our gratitude to Allah SWT for His countless blessings bestowed upon us. In Islam, no action is acceptable before Allah without having pure niyyah. All of our deeds and actions depend upon our niyyah. Allah will reward us according to our niyyah.

The answer is probably not many if any at all. Not many people want to be friends with those who are arrogant. we always choose the good attitude ones to be our friend right?
