Hey! I will be sharing my thoughts on culture and tradition. I will also be sharing some really interesting things about my culture, and my type of tradition. I am from Nepal and we have a different type of culture. i really like my culture. We have our own language that is Nepali, not only Nepali but there are many language's around Nepal like Newari. We have own type of dress code. Our tradition is also different we celebrate different things and we worship our own god, we have many temples in Nepal. We have our own special food which is Mo:Mo's, rice, daal and vegetables which most of the people in Nepal eat, this is manly called Thakali. The most followed religion in Nepal is Hinduism which is similar to India. Culture is a thing which is different in every persons house, they follow their won type of culture, but the tradition is the same in many of the families around Nepal. This is my understanding on culture and tradition and this is our culture and tradition in Nepal which we follow.

Every country has their own culture and tradition for example India has many states in it which is also divided in different types of culture for example south India has their own taste of food and the clothes are also different there. I live in Delhi which is a state and the culture of Delhi is different from other states like the food in Delhi is rajma chawal. chole bhature etc. Every country follow their own tradition for example people of India are following their tradition for thousands of years. Traditions are the beliefs generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.

For example the photo below is how Indian people get married. But it depends on the religion also because it also depends on your cast. Every cast have their own ways of traditions to marriage. My family follow Hindu tradition so they calibrate every Hindu traditions for example Diwali, holy etc

QUESTION- What do the words ‘culture’ and ‘tradition’ mean to you? What comes to your mind? Reflect on some of the specific traditions that you follow in your house and present your thoughts in the form of an illustration.
