3. Civics is greatly influenced by economy, the financial aspect of a country greatly impacts the government. This includes things like government funded programs and taxes. It is important to understand what is economically happening in my country and to also be able to speak up about our tax money. 2. Civics is understanding the roots of our government and what makes up our government. I think this concept is important because it taught me the importance of certain principles and concepts that made up America like the difference between democracy and a republic. Assignment 3.1, this assignment demonstrates this concept by showing me that the United States is a republic rather than a democracy, and about the enlightenment thinkers.
