Last year when he was in Little Owl's Henry commemorated his Great Grandad Alfred Amos, his Great Aunty Margaret Greenhall and his other Great Grandad Patrick Rodwellwho was an Irish Guard during WW2 (Henry's middle name is Patrick in remembrance).

Margaret Greenhall was a warden during the air raids (this was really brave; hiding from bombs in air raid shelters was very scary and margaret had to help people feel safe).

Henry's other Great Grandad had the very difficult and brave job of dispatch rider in WW2; on his own on a motorcycle he had to carry messages on the allied armies on the Western Front. If the messages did not get through the army would have not had the information it needed! He had to look after his own bike and repair it in ditches or wherever he could find a safe place, hoping he would not get spotted. This is a picture of his amazing Great Grandad:
