Alec Schemmel’s responsibilities include constituent correspondence, office management and legislative research on agency policies and other pertinent issues. Monitoring action on the floor, he attends a variety of congressional briefings and hearings on a regular basis. Remaining active in journalism, Mr. Schemmel has served as an editorial intern with The Daily Caller News Foundation where he authored articles on a daily basis.
