Hello Everyone!

I will be your professor for 3 classes this summer, starting with SPED 315. I am an associate professor in the Education department at Presbyterian College. Prior to this position, I worked as a research associate at the National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities at Clemson University. And for the 3 years before that, I was a Special Education professor at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. I am originally from England and I lived in Buffalo, NY, when I moved to the States at the age of 25. I went to college in Buffalo and got certified to teach secondary Social Studies and then returned to get my master’s degree and certification in Special Education. I have taught students with emotional and behavioral disorders, students with intellectual disabilities, and students with physical and health disabilities. I am really looking forward to helping prepare you for your Special Education endorsement! Welcome to the class!
