        WHY I CHOSE IT 
1.  I have read a few books by the author Andrew Clements and knew that I liked it so thats one of the reasons I picked up this book 
2.  When I read the back I thought the plot was really interesting 
3. I also am a fan of mystery books and I couldn't put the book down

I felt calm while reading this book when a lot is going on wouldn't we all want to go to another universe a good one and the most realistic way of doing that is reading a book so this humorous book was that portal that took me to that interesting universe. Percy's back people, we find out more about romans and camp jupiter. But we still miss annabeth. Nico has another sister. He knows about both camps too. Percy becomes praetor !!

   This book is exciting and really interesting I am happy until percy and annabeth fall into tartarus. I got to learn more about rome and It was also quite interesting as Leo  almost started a war after 10 seconds of meeting the romans. It was also sad as Reyna's " bestfriend " kind of forgot her. I really enjoyed this book as  all the characters are working together to save the greek gods. You get more insight into their powers and abilities. I would recommended all Rick Riordan books to you but this has to be my favourite one. You should read each and every book , whatever type of reader you are. I really enjoyed this series, it was one of the best. The author has described each and every character like they are your best friend, but not the capitol unless you wan to be one of them . This book starts of by introducing the characters and how the hunger games works, then goes into the hunger games after BOTH Katniss and Peeta make it alive they go on the tour and it ends at the games with all the winners but it's really sad because then Peeta becomes someone he never was. In this you can see magnus and his friends going on a quest to destroy loki and they ended up putting him in a walnut shell !At first I was confused like in the first 50 pages the main character dies ? But after that I understood and even ended up learning about norse mythology and  got to learn a little more about ragnarok and thor ! Through the books you meet various new characters and learn their  past experiences   as we go though the story. Even though the series was not percy jackson it was good but sometimes it seemed to be a little boring - my opinion . I got to  learn more about egyptian mythology and how their system worked! I chose this book because of mainly because it was written by Rick Riordan.
