This shows that if the trial had taken place today, they would have received a fair trial like all cases today.

He had sent letter to his supporters, friends, and family and expressed his emotions through the letters. He even felt that they would receive another trail after new evidence had been brought to the court. He also sent letters to Vanzetti which show they had faith in winning the trial because they talked about plans on what to do after the trial.

3. http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/SaccoV/van-deathhouse.html
In this document it shows letters written by Vanzetti while in the death house. There are a total of four letters written by Vanzetti in this document and each in each one, Vanzetti thanks his supporters and says his last goodbye to his friends and family.

Paragraph 1.
On April 15, 1920, a paymaster and his guard were murdered in South Braintree, Mass. They were killed by two men who escaped with $15,000 and witnesses believed that the two men were Italians. Three weeks after two men, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were arrested after local police believed they were connected to the crime. Prior to this both have no criminal records and were known as anarchists, labor organizers, and antiwar activists. Because of their actions they were viewed with great doubt of innocence. In July of 1921 both were found guilty and sentenced to death. In 1927 both Sacco and Vanzetti had been executed and this event sparked worldwide sympathy. However years later, tests with modern equipment show that Sacco pistol had fired a shot that resulted in the death of one of the men. Today, we know that Sacco was most likely not innocent while Vanzetti was.

Paragraph 2.
The outcome of the Sacco and Vanzetti trial led to nationwide protests during and after the trial demanding that they would be released. It was also determined that Sacco and Vanzetti had received an unfair trial by today's standards. If the trial had taken place today, there would have been a bigger chance of having another trial. Because of the outcome of the trial, people began to realize how corrupt and unfair trials were which had a long influence on the justice system still to this day. This also changed how immigrants saw the U.S. and caused discomfort and disapproval of the government from immigrants. Today, this trial has played a role in today's court systems and changed society. The trial has also had a a influence that is still felt to this day and has forever changed the justice systems.
