Now I live in Tona, a small town near Vic. I prefer to live in the tranquility of a village but I love to visit Barcelona because it has everything and it is very beautiful.

The languages I speak, understand and write perfectly are Spanish and Catalan. With English I have more difficulties but I understand it.

What are the main things to keep in mind when teaching English to younger learners?
I think the most important thing to work with young children is to make them feel confident, where they are not afraid to participate and make mistakes. Another very important point is to do very dynamic activities where children can learn from each other in order to achieve meaningful learning.

2. Why do you like it? What makes it an effective learning environment
I like this type of class because they are organized by groups, that helps cooperative learning, it is very important to have a good classroom climate and that apart from the teacher they have support among them. This type of class also allows the teacher to have a good control of the students.

3. How can routines be used to create a positive learning environment? What routines are you going to establish in your classes?
 I think it is very important to know the feelings that our students feel and how they feel that day, so I think you could do every day a time in which students talk about how they feel, another routine that I would like to do when I am a teacher is to teach them that we will do that day to have everything always prepared and do not waste time.

4. How can we avoid some of the “bad” teaching habits shown in the BBC videos?
Many of these habits can be avoided with professional teachers who never take something for granted, where they have a good climate of trust with their students, a good eye contact with everyone and who let students make mistakes in order to help them understand why they have made a mistake.
