         <description><![CDATA[<div>iCON suddenly blocked our id to access to their office<br><br>So every time we access to their meeting room we have to ask for it to information desk.<br><br>As the other companies would grow up in our side, this meeting room problem will be bigger.<br><br>They've got 8 meeting rooms and we have 3 in our sides. As far as we know, we are one of tenants in this office floor. So this is kind of unfair.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. 익명을 도입한 취지는 좋다고 생각한다. 그러나 커뮤니케이션 태도에 이슈가 있을 수 있고, 괜한 오해와 불신을 야기할 수 있는 것 같다.&nbsp;<br>2. 익명이기에 사과를, 해명을 하고 싶어도 할 수 없는 상황이다. (문제는 문제로서 계속 해결되지 못하고 남아있을 가능성이 존재하게 된다.)<br>3. 패들릿을 실명으로 작성하게 하고, 실명으로 말하기 어려운 내용은 다른 채널로(구글 설문 등) 받아보면 어떨까. (2개 채널 운영)<br>4. 새롭게 도입하는 방향에 대해서는 전사 의견을 모두 수렴한 후 결정하는 것이 중요할 것이다.&nbsp;<br><br>1. We think the purpose of introducing anonymous bulletin board is good. However, there may be issues with communication attitudes. And it may cause unnecessary misunderstanding and distrust.<br>2. Because it is anonymous, we cannot do that even though we want to explain and apology about it. (There is a possibility that the problem will remain unresolved as a problem.)<br>3. Why don't we write the padlet(or slack) with real name and get the content that is difficult to say with real name on another channel(google survey)?&nbsp;<br>4. It will be important to decide the new direction after collecting all of member's opinions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Having a Townhall-kind of meeting/forum where people can express their opinions/ideas/issues is good<br><br>Using something like Padlet to gather people's opinions/ideas/issues is also good, but we could work on making it better<br>-&gt; Maybe disable comments?<br>-&gt; Maybe make it not anonymous?<br>-&gt; Maybe have the person who posted the initial topic be able to pick an answer and decide when it's been resolved to their satisfaction?<br>- having different options about methodology and voting about it would be a good idea<br><br>Everybody has a different style (some people are serious, some people like to joke, etc) but when comments are made anonymously, it's hard to see the intent behind it. This makes it more difficult to have a healthy discussion.<br><br>Being able to meet offline for Townhall would be great</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>**<br>3월 싱크에 참석하지 못한 분들도 계시고, 음성이 정확하게 전달이 안되었던 부분도 있어 이 곳에 다시 공유드립니다 :)<br>**<br>와주셔서 감사합니다.&nbsp; 언제나 그렇 듯 온라인이지만 건강하게 만날 수 있어 감사합니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>오늘 싱크는 한글과 영어로 병행하여 진행할 예정입니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>오늘 전달하고 싶은, 나누고 싶은 내용이 조금은 더 정확하고 진실되게, 섬세하게 전달되기를 바라는 마음이기에&nbsp;<br>행여라도 언어적 장벽 때문에 소통의 누수가 더 많이 발생할까봐 되도록 두 언어로 모두 전달드리고자 하며, 일본사무소에게는 정말 미안하지만, 수인의 통역을 요청드립니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>그리고 아시는 것처럼 제 언어는 영어보다는 한국어가 훨씬 편하고 좋습니다. 그래서 오히려 영어로 전달되는 부분이 미약할 지도 모르겠습니다.<br><br></div><div><strong>사실 오늘 새로운 싱크를 시작함에 앞서 사과를 먼저 하려고 합니다. <br>미처 다 섬세하게 생각하지 못한 운영에 대한 사과입니다. </strong><br><br></div><div>혹시 우리 슬로건인 Good things with pleasure 중 제일 중요한 단어 하나만 꼽으라고 하면 혹시 무엇일까요?<br><br></div><div>바로 Pleasure입니다. 그럼 왜 Pleasure가 제일 중요하다고 여기게 되었을까요?&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>우리 경험의 가장 중요한 요소가 바로 감정이기 때문입니다. 우리는 감정을 넘어서는 생각할 수 없고, 감정을 별개로 판단할 수 없기 때문입니다.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>그래서 우리가 함께 모인 이 곳에서 공동의 목표를 달성하는데 가장 중요한 것을 결국 그 과정에 있는 감정을, 어떤 감정을 느끼는가가 제일 중요하다고 믿습니다.</strong> &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>멋진 슬로건들이 많죠. Don't be evil, Do the right things, Do the right things right.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>하지만 결국 옳고 그름을 판단하는 가치 이면에는 역시나 '내가 좋게 느끼느냐'가 가장 중요합니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>그래서 우리는 의미있는, 좋은 일이라는 결과만큼 그 과정에 있는 Pleasure를 아주 소중하게 다루고 싶다는 바람을 가지고 있습니다.</strong> &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>아시는 분들도 계시겠지만, 이번 싱크는 본래 새롭게 운영하고자 했던 첫 시작입니다.<br><br></div><div>제니가 공지해준 것처럼, <strong>싱크의 새로운 목적은 모든 사람이 다양한 의사결정에 자유롭게 참석하고,&nbsp;<br>우리 모두가 여러 영역에서 가지고 있는 통찰력과 관점을 함께 논의하기 위함이었습니다.<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>더 나아가서는 일방향 소통의 싱크가 아니라, 다양한 주제로 쌍방향 소통이 일어나도록 할 수 있게 하고 싶었습니다. </strong><br><br></div><div>그리고 패들릿은 하나의 도구로 그 쌍방향 소통을 건강하게 교환할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방편이었구요.<br><br></div><div>익명성 역시 하나의 도구로서 각자의 관점을 자기의 역할과 관계없이 소통할 수 있도록 차용한 하나의 방편이었습니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>그런데 이 도구들을 통해 상대방의 의도와는 관계없이 상처를 받거나 오해를 받는 구성원들이 생겼고,&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>전혀 중요하지 않은 '누가 무엇을 썼을까'에 추측이 더해지면서 서로 간에 가상의 공간에서 의심과 불안한 시선이 생겨났습니다. </strong><br><br></div><div>관련해서 저와 제니에게 개인적으로 피드백을 주신 분들도 계셨고, 심지어 가까이 있는 운영진 사이에서조차 서로의 행동과 생각을 정확하게 알기가 어렵기도 했습니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>이 부분은 운영과 관련하여 충분히 고민하지 못한 운영진의 실수 때문이라고 생각하기에, 결과적으로 혹시라도 상처 받았을 분들께 미안한 마음 꼭 전달하고 싶었습니다. 행여라도 상처받았던 분들이 계시면 사과하고 싶습니다.&nbsp; </strong><br><br></div><div>제일 아쉬운 부분은 누군가는 상처 주려는 의도가 없었음에도 상처를 받는 사람이 생기거나 불신이 생겼다는 것이 이미 벌어진 상황이라는 점입니다.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>'함께 논의해서 함께 답을 찾아가는 과정'이 RDM의 전제입니다. 문제 제기하는 주체와 해결하는 주체가 분리되어 있지도 않습니다.</strong><br><br></div><div>그래서 이 과정이 지난하더라도 서로의 깊은 신뢰와 믿음을 담보하지 않으면 많은 조직처럼 의사결정 따로, 실행 따로인 조직이 되어버릴 가능성이 높아집니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>우리가 찾으려는 것이 '정답'이 아니라 '함께 찾아간 답'이라는 것에 의미가 있습니다.<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>불편하더라도 서로의 얼굴을 마주하고, 감정적으로 연결되어 있으면서 존중을 기반으로 소통하지 않으면 우리 목적과는 아무런 관계없는 결과들이 만들어집니다. </strong><br><br></div><div><strong>더구나 게시판은 상대방의 표정이나 말투, 제스처를 알 수 없이 글만 전달되기 때문에 읽는 사람의 의지대로 해석될 여지가 커서 더욱 조심하고 존중하는 마음을 가짐으로 대화하는 것이 너무나 중요합니다</strong><br><br></div><div>그래서 오늘은 본론으로 돌아가 우리 다같이 다시 의논하고 상의하는 시간을 가져보려고 합니다. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>또한 질문 주신 것들 중에서 우리가 오늘 답변 할 수 있는 것은 답변을 진행합니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>더 나아가 우리가 싱크를 어떻게 운영하고 무엇을 논의하기를 바라는가에 대해 다 함께 논의하고자 합니다.<br><br></div><div>다만, 싱크는 필요하다는 전제 위에서 논의가 되었으면 좋겠습니다. 한 달에 한번은 우리 전사의 모든 구성원이 자기의&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>직무적, 미션의 역할을 떠나 얼굴을 마주보고 우리 모두의 주제로 함께 모이는 것은 모두의 참여를 요청한다는 큰 테두리는 필요함을 인지하고 논의를 시작했으면 좋겠습니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>감사합니다.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

Thanks for coming and it is always very lovely to see you all even though it's online.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I will conduct the sync in Korean and English both for today.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>The reason is that I want to deliver the meaning more precisely, truthfully, and delicately so I'd like to reach out to those who might not be able to understand fully in English.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I feel sorry for the Tokyo office, but Sooin will try to deliver them in Japanese.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I even feel much comfortable speaking in Korean, so my English deliberation might not be so abundant compared to Korean today. <br><br><strong>I want to start the sync with the sincere apology first, for the operation issues that we didn't think more carefully.</strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>If we have to pick the most meaningful word from our slogan, 'Good things with pleasure', it would be the word 'pleasure'.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>Because the most crucial factor of the experience is 'emotion,' and we can't think above or beyond the emotions and make a judgment without emotions and feelings. That's how we work.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>So we believe that emotions and feelings, especially positive feelings, are the most crucial matter in the progress of achieving the goal in our organization.</strong><br><br></div><div>In the end, it comes to the question of how do I feel about it to decide what is right to do.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>That is why we value and try to treat the emotion of 'pleasure' during the progress of anything. </strong><br><br></div><div>As we were aware, today's sync was planned to have a 'new start.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>And as Jenny already posted, the new purpose of the sync is that 1) <strong>opening the space where everyone can participate in the decision-making process and 2) sharing the agendas or insights or perspectives that we all have from different points of view. </strong><br><br></div><div><strong>Furthermore, we want to make the sync is two-way communication rather than one-way communication.</strong><br><br></div><div>The Padlet was one of the tools that expected to boost the two-way communication among us,&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>and anonymity was also one of the means expected to increase the communication without concerning each one of us's roles and jobs.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>However, through these tools and means, we have people who got hurt or being misunderstood without someone's intention; people started to think like 'who wrote what, which accumulates more to the assumptions and leads to the suspicious and anxiety in the virtual place. </strong><br><br></div><div>Jenny and I received feedback, mainly concerns about the situations, and even we could not understand each other clearly because of assumptions.<br><br></div><div><strong>We want to sincerely apologize for the problem we create, and this is because we didn't carefully calculate its outcomes. </strong><br><br></div><div><strong>If you got hurt from the post in Padlet or if you blamed yourself, if you felt like you wanted to blame someone back, those are all my, our fault who didn't take deep consideration of it. &nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div>And we truly don't want to tolerate this mistrust or finger-pointing environment.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>The ground rule of RDM is 'discuss together, find the way together. There is no single party that was throwing issues and fixing the problems. There is no lines between those two.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div>We decided to go that long, the hard way, and it is only possible to do so when we have trust and security to each other.<strong> </strong><br><br></div><div><strong>We are not looking for the correct answer. We are looking for the answer we find, struggle, and think together. </strong><br><br></div><div>In order to find that way, we have to be face to face, connected, and respectful to each other. Otherwise, we might end up to an organization with decision-making functions and following/executing functions separately.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I am concerned the anonymous communication will dismiss the trust that we have built and not even be close to accurate, clear, and unbiased communication. <strong>Written communication has to be careful and respectful always because we don't know the other person's emotions. </strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>Today, we want to back to the beginning discussion of sync.<br><br></div><div>There will be answers about the questions as well.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>At the ground level of discussion, what we want to carry through the sync and how we want to operate. What kind of subjects we want to deal with here.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>But, this discussion is based on the idea of 'we need to have sync monthly.' At least we want to sit together and gather all around as a contributor of Ailys to discuss the issues we want to solve.&nbsp;<br><br>Thank you.</div>]]></description>
