One kid, especially, knows that he can talk to me about anything and If I come to class and there is a sub I know that I can go to him and ask what it is they are doing and he'll help me to understand. We have a very good and positive relationship because we help each other out with things we need, not only does he hep me but I help him with any questions about his worksheet that he has or if he needs me to spell anything I help him do so.

For instance when the teacher tells them to sit on the carpet, they are expected to know that that means to sit criss-cross applesauce and voices are off and they all are ready to learn. However, they do not do what is expected of them 100% of the time. So to try to fix this issue I decided to bring in a mason jar and marbles, and every time they do what is expected of them without being told, I would add marbles to the jar. If the kindergartens filled up the jar with good behavior and kept it full till the end of the year they would get a Popsicle party on the last day of school. However as the year came close to the end the students did not follow instructions and were very noisy when they weren’t supposed to be.
