Some countries were not secure, and wanted to secure their land. Because of this, they formed alliances with even bigger, more powerful countries. This infuriated all of the other countries.

I: Imperialism. The European countries had already taken over the land that they could find, so they resorted to taking other parts of Europe. This caused anger in the countries that were taken over, and the countries they had allied with.

N: Nationalism. Each country wants to think that they are the best, with the best people, the best military, the best economy, and the best alliances. This is why troops fought for their country.

To sum it all up, 4 of the main causes of ww1 was the murder of a hungarian heir which was a the "tipping point" or the "domino effect" that followed after this event. Also what didn't help was that there was growing tensions between many different european nations and with all of this combined (and the ever growing thirst for social political power) it was one of the main events that increased the distrust between the Slovak and hungarian/Austrian people (Slovak was considered as rivals from Hungary/Austria)

The four main causes of World War 1 were Militarism, Alliances, Imperialism, and Nationalism. Militarism was one of the four main causes because the military were always trying to be better than the other militaries, and also Germany had become the strongest in mainland europe. Which leads us to the second main reason which is Alliances, the alliances were used to support one another and so if one country that was in your alliance got attacked you would have to support them, But there were two different alliances that were known. The Central powers alliance consisted of Turkey, Austria-Hungary, Germany and Italy. but the Allies alliance consisted of France, Russia, and Great Britain. and they both hated each other so that caused the world war. The next reason is Imperialism because imperialism was used to take control of other countries financially, politically, and economically. The last main reason is Nationalism because it was believed that beliefs and interests were supposed to be all around the world and it should be uniting.

Militarism was a main cause of WWl because it increased lots of tension between the countries which led to the war. Alliances were apart of the main causes of WWl because, countries started to come together and work together. However it was hard to just fight with a single country without creating lots of tension with the countires that they are alliances with so lots and bigger wars started to break out. Imperialism was also a cause of WWl because colonies started to fight for resources and fight for a better economy. Nationalsim was a cause for WWl because pepople let their personal beliefs ideas take over what they should have done to help everyone and not what they thought would be best for them.

The four main causes of WWI were militarism, alliances, imperialism, and nationalism.

Militarism played a main cause of WW1, because since each country had strived to become stronger, and have more control and power than the other countries they knew they would need to have a strong military for conflicts that are bound to happen. Strengthening their military had allowed them to become stronger than the other countries and be able to take more land.

Alliances played another important role as a main cause of WW1 because the countries needed to pair up with each other to stay in power since fighting another powerful country is bound to happen. The other weaker countries would need to pair up with stronger or equivalent-powered countries to fight back and keep their control and power. Having alliances allowed them to stay in power and stay safer than if they had no alliances.

Imperialism had a huge role in WW1 because since each country wanted more land and power over others, they would've caused smaller fights that would lead up to the huge war.

Nationalism is the last of the four main causes but still important because nationalism makes people fight for their homeland and country more since they love and respect their land.

The first main cause of WW1 was Militarism when countries were always trying to be better than the other people. An example was the back and forth between Germany and England over who could get the best navy. Or the Cold War, when America and Russia were trying to get the biggest and most unprecedented super weapon.

The next cause of WW1 was Alliances, the two main alliances, the Allies and the Axis powers were in on the war. This means that if there is a conflict some of the biggest powerhouses in the world will get involved, leaving catastrophic results.

Nationalism, which is a large sense of pride within a country makes people make impulsive decisions and be Apathetic to anybody other than their people. An example of this was the Arian Race during WW2/

Lastly, imperialism, wich is the invasion of other countries for there resources and economy. This almost always resulted in war and sparked conflict. A very prominent example of this was India's revolution against great Britain.
