That is a very important right because it can effect, based on what religion, what happens to you after you die. (If you are religious). You also need to be able to petition the government. That is important because it can determine your future. The first amendment is the base on what the others come to. Mainly religion and freedom of speech. Freedom of speech comes in the 5th.
