Her role in the war was that she was a women and american colonist. she also was a nurse for george washington if he got injured. during the war she had to go to george and help him when ever needed  but she had to go through risks such as traps, soliders, and wild animals. During the Revolution, Martha Washington's social circle expanded dramatically, as she met influential members of society in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia.</div>]]></description>

He served as a general during the American Revolutionary War, fighting for the American Continental Army before defecting to the British in 1780. Arnold planned to surrender the fort to British forces, but the plot was discovered in September 1780 and he fled to the British. He joined the growing army outside Boston and distinguished himself through acts of intelligence and bravery. Arnold had got a command by george washington to get placed on the west side of new york.</div>]]></description>
