Chloe ran away from her house for being a woman who wanted to work and do things. So when she tried to come back to visit her dad didn't let her in. So she became a Nurse to help people who are hurt, sick, or have the Influenza. They kept walking and around a few corners, they turn and see it. Theo said she wasn't here but all the way in Washington DC, she left to go there to find something for a whole year. Someone called Mr. Martin and said they need his help, when he left the room the girls sat quietly until his footsteps were no more. They tell Hobie they need to get to Washington but can't afford the train. Hobie said he knew how to get there. Hobie told them they would have to hide in the blind spot, in between the engine and the passenger luggage cart. When the train started to move Hobie grabbed the girls hands and hopped on, Myrtle and Violet figured out that there was nothing to hold on to and if you looked down to long you would get so sick and almost fall off. After a while of riding the rails, the railroad police came and asked for money. Hobie said he didn't have money and to target the girls, the police grabbed Myrtle's arm, he swung her about to throw her through the door. Violet screamed "I have money!" "I have money, put her down now!" Hobie said to give him 15 cents but the police twisted myrtle's arm and said 30. Violet handed the man three nickels. As Violet made her way down The Jim Crow Car she saw Myrtle and another old woman. When Violet had walked up to give Myrtle some food she looked at the old woman who had said hello to Violet and went to sleep. Violet thought that the old woman must've been too old to stay awake. She told Myrtle that she thought Mr. Martin was a criminal, Myrtle said it was obvious. Once Violet had gotten back she saw two men in black clothes with white collars talking to Ms. Dexter. When Violet had walked up to them she heard them asking for a man with a scar on his face and three missing fingers, Violet had thought that sounded a lot like Mr. Martin but she acted dumb know something was wrong, Mrs. Dexter said she didn't know who they where talking about. The men had gotten upset and asked for him by name...  Sandor Arpadfi. Violet and Ms. Dexter said they didn't know who that was, because they didn't. Violet had started to walk through the two men to go find Mr. Martin but one of the men stopped her, "I'm just going to the saloon"(Bathroom) with an innocent face that she had manged to pull out of nowhere. The man let her go, as Violet made her way through the cars she looked everywhere, four more cars up she found Mr. Martin. She told Mr. Martin that two men were looking for him. He handed Violet the two drinks he had and said he was gonna jump off the train. Mr. Martin had leaped for it. Violet screamed but couldn't hear Mr. Martin over the sound of the train itself. She screamed for him but then felt an arm grab hers. It was one of the men. He pulled Violet back and asked if he had jumped off, the other man was running to them. The man had let go of violet and said he was going to jump off to find him. The suffragists need them to vote for the Susan B. Anthony Amendment. In order to find them, she has to drive The Hope Chest (car) and it gets pretty crazy. She does it though! She finds Mr. Crewdall and takes him back, Mrs. Pollitzer finds Mr. Blotz. This whole time Violet cannot find Chole, Myrtle, or Mr. Martin.
