Using it correctly though could possibly help fix cancer in a human body. If you figure out what is going rogue in the body, it could possibly stop the cancer. It would be breaking the rules, but it would be to help someone. - Taylor

In the end it can lead to saving hundreds of lives. - Morgan

It is ok to break rules in experiments because it could lead to positive affects in the scientific world. Although not ethical, it is important to test the boundaries of what is possible and what is not. This is why rules must be broken sometimes. - Braylen Gwyn

There are some rules that do not need to be broken, such as harming others, unless they agree. Rules that don't harm people aren't as big of a deal to break. However, under most cases I would not advise the use of unethical or illegal methods regarding any type of discovery under any level of importance; especially if the experiment and/or practice has the possibility of putting others in danger or possibly death. If the rule-breaking is supervised and done cautiously, it is possible for the practice to be endorsed, especially if the experiment and/or discovery would be of great societal benefit: Cancer, dementia, alzheimer's, etc.

- Bradlee Hajek

If you are somewhere like at college and a your trying to get into a sorority and there rules are really bad. If one of theres rules was daring you to run across the highway as a rule to get into the sorority than you can break the rule and not do it to stay safe. Rule-breaking can also help you discover new things. If everyone if following the rules and doing the same thing than nothing will ever be discovered. - Lynlee Shipp

By now, it was standard practice to discard of a contaminated dish such as Alexander had. But, he decided to study it instead. He discovered that the mold was producing a substance he later named penicillin, which proved to be a powerful antibiotic.
