Learning about our bodies is fun and helps children understand how to use them in various activities.

He enjoys taking part in activities that develop his spatial awareness, which means he knows where his body is in space and how to move it safely. Lereko is a happy boy who loves coming to school. He enjoys spending time with his teacher and friends. Each day, he looks forward to class and can say goodbye to his parents without feeling sad. He feels excited to learn new things and play with his classmates.

At school, he enjoys playing with many friends and sharing toys with them. He is very independent, using the bathroom by himself and eating his lunch without help. His cheerful attitude and independence make him a wonderful friend and student.

Lereko loves starting his mornings by talking about the days of the week and the months of the year. He enjoys sharing what the weather is like outside – is it sunny or rainy? At times, Lereko finds it challenging to pay attention during certain topics, which is perfectly normal. Lereko has been doing his best to learn additional languages, such as Afrikaans and isiZulu, and always tries his hardest to repeat the words. He will continue to improve as he hears the words more often and practises sign language. We have learned many signs in sign language, and he has really enjoyed it! Each time he practises, he gets better and better, showing that with effort and dedication, he can become confident at communicating in different ways.

Lereko has shown great improvement in counting and is becoming more confident in identifying his numbers. Sometimes, he still needs a little support from his teacher when he is unsure about a number, but that’s perfectly normal. With practice, his confidence will continue to grow.

In addition to counting, he is improving in recognising shapes and is becoming more confident in naming them correctly. Keep growing, Lereko! You are doing wonderfully, and with each step, you are getting closer to mastering these skills.
