Evaluate your devised piece (one paragraph) using the PDE format:

Example: 
Our devised piece was effective because of our use of cross-cutting. We chose to show events in a random order in order to create suspense for our audience. We began our piece at the moment where the destruction had hit and the zombies had attacked. We showed this by creating a still image using physical theatre to represent the rubble and ruins in the town. This was effective because the audience were immediately struck by the intensity of the image making them want to find out why such a tragedy has happened.

I think this was effective because it helps the audience understand the characters because if something bad was happening but the character's facial expression doesn't show any sign of fear it will make the audience think that this character is a very 'chilled out' person, giving the audience a little bit of 'background' information about the character.
How might you develop this piece of drama?

The most impotent thinks is that the audience likes it because if they don t like our act we wont be happy and we cant have a good grade. I chose to do on stage a character that is zombie because i like them, but my friends they deside  to do a normal person it because i can do more better. It was affective and impact on audience because i like drama and i want that the audiences likes my performer. I think that my face expression was quiet scarry because this was my character and i but all my effort on this act.

We did this by placing a flashback at a climatic moment to make the audience feel suspense and also to inform the audience of the both the cause and also the consequence  of the zombie apocalypse.Putting the cross cutting in the middle of our piece was effective because it made the audience more involved in the plot of the story .
How? Can you be more specific? 
Next time our group could improve by not blocking or backing and using the whole stage.

 important parts of the play.When the zombies attaked they started killing people we did that in slow motion to make it stand out.The impact is that it forces the audience to see the death,feel the pain and see how scared the people are rather than just noticing the death and moving on to the next scene.This is effective because the audience are used to seeing things in normal speed so when something is slowed down it brings their focus to a higher level.

For example when we were flash forwarding we all used chorus by saying, 'tick tock' several times which showed the audience that the time was passing by. I feel like that was a good transition because it was clear to the audience as of what was happening.

For example we gave eye contact and we were reaching out to the audience in times of need.

This was especially effective as it made the audience feel sympathetic towards us, and hopefully wanted to make them help us. The fact that they could not help made the piece a even more dramatic and heartfelt.

Facial expressions help people get to know the character, e.g. if they are smiling it means they are happy or excited.
Cross cuting helps show what happenend in the past, present and future.
we began our peice when the zombie arrived at the door. Then we jumped to the past. The end scene was the future.

Based on the information we were given we then had to create still images and do a role play, during the second half of the lesson we learnt about climax which is a drama strategy which builds tension in order for the audience to be more curious & eager to find out what happens next.

When we created the role-play during the first half of the lesson, we then had to develop our piece and add climax during the second half.  

How effective was this performance? Can you evaluate the effective moments? 

Me and My group members performed our piece to the class and the one negative feedback we had gotten was the spacing.
Thats something we have kept in mind for next time.
