The challenge was to build a bridge that can hold 5 pounds that spans 10 inches to cross an imaginary river. We tested our prototype by ataching a mini bungee rope on the bridge and then start pouring the sand in the bucket. Our prototype did work because the bridge held 10 pounds and 2 ounces. Our design worked because we had the arch and triangles in the archthat distributed the weight evenly so it worked well.

We tested our prototype by putting the weight of the bucket on it to see if it would bend at all. Our bridge held 6 lbs and 7.7 ounces. Our prototype worked because we had support noodles on both sides of the plastic block.
