1. Semantic noise: The use of jargon words when they speak. For example, how the term "OT" used by everyone else is overtime but doctors know "OT" as operation theatre.

2. Mechanical noise: Noise of the machine such as a fan or radio frequency interference.

3. Environmental noise: Happens in the surroundings such as renovation of a house nearby. It can't be controlled by us.

Where do you see the future of user-generated content (UGC) in 5 years?

In my opinion, UGC will probably be very popular and is a major factor in development. UGC will become a powerful tool for brands to rise above an increasingly noisy environment.
Brands will definitely learn how to use UGC as a marketing or advertising strategy to benefit their brand and help with exposure, rather than corrupting UGC, this will result in a better and clearer understanding between customers and brands in the marketing and branding industry. UGC is unique since it is created by the people for the people, making it trustworthy.
For example, brands such as Coca
Cola used user-generated content to engage and connect with their audience and users.
Other than that, UGC gives immediate feedback which works as reviews, this then ables to build a community within the media platform and helps contribute to building the brands' trust as well as making products more buyable or e-commerce.

Why do I distrust or trust newspapers?

In a sense, I do not trust the print sometimes since in Malaysia most of the newspaper companies are politically owned by other groups and they are allowed to have a say and look of what kind of news should be published and they can manipulate certain stories to match the newspaper values.

But, I do trust in the print of newspapers, because the information within the articles in the newspaper are all verified and true, so it is trustable and reliable. Writers in newspaper outlets also show the truism of a journalist's work being published. Keeping the journalism world alive. Therefore, newspaper sources are still relevant nowadays as to get information and be in the known despite being politically owned.

Will movie theatres exist in 2030?
How do you envision the film watching experience in the near future?

In my opinion, I do not think movie theatres will exist in 2030 due to development in technology. Although in my opinion the theatre scene will still be relevant because of its specialty to reset your expectations and emotions in a new place, and sets you up to pay attention. It turns watching a movie into an event, something a little more special than clicking on the next YouTube video. I still envision that in the near future, viewers have various options for viewing content that there will be no need to leave the comfort of their own home. Next, viewers will also rather save money than buy movie tickets and overpriced snacks to experience the theatre scene.

Major broadcast networks have been losing viewers for the past two decades. Will they still be relevant 10 years from now. Why or why not?

In my opinion, yes it will still be relevant. This is because it is based on the future's demographics because not everyone in the world has good internet connectivity to look up certain news online. So those people definitely still rely on major broadcast networks to be kept up to date.

Compare traditional radio listening with listening to a station via a mobile app. How are they different?

In my opinion, the two ways of listening to a station or radio aren't that different in terms of experience but
-- Using a mobile app to listen with requires a stable wifi connection or internet connectivity to avoid buffering while the traditional way (radio) doesn't.
-- Quality of the sound is better on the mobile app compared to the traditional way due to the mobile app being used on phones with better stereo systems/platforms.

-- Listening to a station via a mobile app allows us to choose and customise the settings to personally cater to our liking whereas traditional radio is fixed.
