These articles were very informative on knowing your target audience. In the Graphic Design tips article I liked how it stated who you were designing for and who you were marketing to. That is a very difficult task when you start researching your target audience with their demographics and psychographics. You want to encompass the business and the product but you also have to be designed to grab a new customers attention or keep a current client interested. All of which is very intriguing and gives the world of design a different outlook versus just getting a job and designing without knowledge.

These articles have a lot of good insight. You need to always understand why your selling your product. If we don't consider our audience we will never make the product the customer really wants. The more research you have on the audiences general preferences the easier it becomes to make correct assessments, and orient your work for them. It also helps you in that you can find work that fits you well. Playing to your audience is key. It benefits both sides.
