I have chosen the link titled “Our Complete Guide to Grief & Loss”. Although the link does provide with a library of articles on grief and loss, the first title within the link is “coping with Grief & Loss” and yet this link does not explain how to cope with grief and loss. According to the link, I learned that coping with grief and loss varies from person to person. The link also has a suggested grief quiz that is supposed to allow me to understand how much grief I am experiencing at the very moment. I took it and found out that I am unlikely to have complicated grief and that I should not consider this quiz as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment in any way.

The given link and the course textbook both explain Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ 5 stages of dying. They include:

1. Denial and isolation

2. Anger

3. Bargaining

4. Depression

5. Acceptance

I have taken notice that the link is based on a psychologists’ perspective. Considering this, the text consists of information that states that some psychologists prefer to describe them not as stages but as potential reactions to dying.
