I strongly recommend this novel because it is a classic book in lesbian literature which breaks with

stereotypes of lesbian relationship (Carol was published in 1952, when there were a lot of prejudices

related to homosexuality) and because the story explained is so moving.

I chose to read this book because I found interesting a story about a kid that had a complete different understanding of the world from a normal person. This book was easy to read for the reason that Christopher doesn’t use figurative language or metaphors because he doesn’t understand them.
