While writing a literature, an author might base their story on their cultural context such as setting up places that are vastly similar to theirs. Another main feature is that the characters have distinct characteristics that are easily recognisable. It also has a possibility that the author had gained inspiration through their culture to mold these characters.

The plot is a huge takeaway to easily identify the flow of the story in which it reflects the culture and origin of the author. They might add a conflict to the story in a way that is relatable to the people in that specific culture that they've grown up with. There is a possibility that the beliefs of the author will affect the outcomes of the story and give an overall makeover to what the author wants the story to end.
