In 2019, the United States had the largest number of immigrants who arrived in the south border, immigrants who were looking for assylum. These immigrants traveled through Mexico from their home nations, looking for a better quality of life, a better work and safety that couldn't be provided in their country..

The myth comes from political divide and the spreading of the truth. The right will want you to believe that most are illegal, and the left will want you to believe its false.

This statement is way to broad. For example if you are referring to illegal immigrants, the chance of them having a degree and being able to become an attorney for example are honestly pretty low. But immigrants who are educated and have a degree could become an attorney, and it is an EQUAL race to get there in our society. U.S citizens are just as capable of earning a living as immigrants are, No one is stealing any one person's jobs, just some are faster to get to it. You have to take into account low income areas and that it is hard to gauge that someone living in east Detroit would have a harder time than in immigrant.
