How to Create a Morning Routine

I chose this video because I think your morning can affect the rest of your day. Having time in the morning to eat and really wake yourself up can help you become more productive during the day instead of having 5 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to get where you need to go. I agree that hitting snooze can count as your first failure of the day because you will already be behind in the day; plus, waking up after hitting snooze feels even more exhausting. I also agree that having a morning routine can help improve yourself because having something repetitive that doesn't change in your life can be reassuring.

How to Plan Your Day

Planning your day is important for both time management and organization. It helps you not forget or have to rush/cram all of your work. It's good to have a list of daily tasks for you to do, it can either be on paper, or a caldenda, or basically anything that you can look at and see what you have to do. I agree with limiting the amount of tasks you do everyday because putting too many and being unable to complete them all can be disappointing or unmotivating for the next day.

This is a good article because instead of just telling you to use a notebook or an app to manage your time, it acknowledges that you need to do more than that. It tells you that people need to work on 3 key areas, awareness, arrangement, and adaptation, in order to effectively manage their time.
