She and a group of women dedicated to cleaning up their community educated people about the importance of recycling their waste rather than allowing it to pile up behind their homes. They began to use this plastic to create wallets, bags, balls for children which they sold. She continues her efforts to eliminate the use of plastic bags and to prevent burning of them which created toxic fumes from.

Kaewkao's first protest about climate change was against fossil fuels. She organized a march on the south highway to block traffic with the people of Prachuab Khirikhan in 1998. Before all this, Kaewkao said that she read many newspapers and magazines about climate change. At first, she didn't understand what it was about, but when she started reading more about it, she had the spirit of fighting to give her knowledge. Then, she used science to educate others about climate change through her own opinion using her voice. She concludes that everyone should be aware of climate change in case anything happens in the future.

Anuar Abdullah was dedicated to helping the coral reefs by picking up all of the nets that were left in the bottom of the ocean. 640,000 tons of ghost nets are left behind in the world’s oceans each year, and around 136,000 whales, dolphins, seals and turtles are estimated to be caught in them. After many years Anuar Abdullah saved many coral reefs just by picking up nets from them.

Isatou and a few woman in Africa decided to use plastic bags to make balls, wallets, and more! In Africa they don't have a lot of materials for bags and not a lot of toys for children. Ceesay filled children's hearts with joy when they play with the ball. And she helped adults carry stuff around.
