Name of the organism responsible : Bordatella pertussis
My action plan to prevent the disease : There are many ways to prevent Whooping cough , some of them are :-
1. Vaccination : The vaccine used for Whooping cough is called DTaP. This is a combination vaccine that helps protect against three diseases: diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. So, it's best to get a vaccination at least once an year
2. Antibiotics : If you or a member of your household has been diagnosed with pertussis, you or the member of your household shall be recommended antibiotics.
3. Hygiene :Pertussis spreads by coughing and sneezing while in close contact with others. Good hygiene is required to prevent it. Here are some important tips :-

*Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
*Put your used tissue in the waste basket.
*Cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve ,if you don’t have a tissue.
*Wash your hands often.
*Use an alcohol-based hand wash.

It is a chronic disease that occurs in cattle and is characterised by the formation of granuloma.
Modes Of Infection : Injuries, and Abrasion, specially in the oral cavity.
Symptoms: Changes may occur in the lungs , rumen,omasum and a omasum.
Treatment:Intravenous injection of Sodium Iodide should be given and one or two injections should be given in some cases. The treatment antibiotics is very promising.

Name of disease:Crown Gall
It is a rod shaped, gram-negative soil bacterium

Cause:it is caused by bacteria belonging to the genus and species Agrobacterium tumefaciens.This bacterium can infect a wide range of herbaceous and Woody plants

Symptom:plants with crown Gall are unable to transport water and nutrients up the trunk thus they become weakened and eventually die.

My action plan to prevent the disease:

Select resistant cultivars when possible and purchase plants from a reputable nursery.
When caring for susceptible plants, avoid injury or pruning wounds that may come in contact with the soil.
Use Tree Wrap to protect against string trimmer damage and keep your garden tools clean.
In many cases, existing galls can be removed with a sharp pruning knife.
