I am Miss Dóra, a Hungarian Literature and Grammar, and History teacher from ISB, Budapest. Although I feel like it happened long time ago, it was just a month ago when we celebrated Christmas. In my family, fish soup is the traditional starter of the Christmas Eve meal, and we have breaded carp and roasted duck with different side dishes, like mashed potatoes and salads. "Bejgli", a stuffed scone, is one of the most popular traditional Hungarian dessert, which is stuffed with poppy seeds or grinded walnut.
