1. I think that the main reason that people where motivated to colonize America is because of money.
2. I think that I would not want to go and sail to new lands not because of the poor pay or nasty food, but because of the fact you can never be safe! 2.I would not want to go,as if i am living comfortably where I am, even if the new lands could be better, id rather keep what I had then jeopardize everything. Especially with the diet the work and the sickness, the survival rates are low anyways. It just seems like a big risk for something that may or may not exist.

If I were a sailor living in the mid-1400s, I would not want to join the expedition to sail to new  lands because the risks, hardships, and the journey itself far outweigh the novelties of founding a new country. 2. Depending on my situation, I would most likely not go. If I am happy and healthy, I would definitely stay in England, knowing the risks of traveling to America.
