There should have been one universal passport and students would need to get it stamped from going to each class to show they did something and didn't just run from class to class

Evening

It was very nice of the volunteers to come with their items and artifacts. I wonder if items, food, or artifacts can have some writing on them, so people can read and learn about the origin of the items that are being presented. Maybe if a class is learning about a particular country, they can display their flag, and learning items on the tables of particular tables, so people can read and learn.

Provinding more time during staff meetings to discuss what was supposed to happen during this time (didn't know how long, what type of information to tell, what kids were interested in, what age was coming to our rooms)

It was nice to have parents involved with the evening portion. I'm wondering if there can be more text or books included with what the parents are presenting. This could even be done by the students. For example, if we have a class learning about Germany, they can post the German flag along with posters of peices of work the class completed.

Country selected

I feel that having two classes select a country together might be earlier than one class on its own. This would allow more collaboration among others and allow students to work with other children from other classes. I feel that having this with students near their classes and divisions might be more effective than with younger children and junior kids. For example, as I was roaming around the classes, I noticed that prior students had a hard time discussing things with junior students. Whereas junior students visiting junior students was more effective because of the ability to read posters, and ask more questions about what the content presented in each class.

The use of the money from School Council was not made clear as to what we could buy with it.

Many students were sad that they didn't get to see all the rooms. At my previous school, each class was divided into an A group and a B group. In period 1, all the A groups were the "hosts" while the B group students left their homerooms and explored. Then in period 2, the B group students stayed and hosted while the A group students visited. Perhaps a similar set up could work here.

Maybe instead of presenting info each year we could rotate...next year we could reach out to parents willing to share an activity (i.e., cricket, martial arts, yoga dance, board game - mancala) and classes could rotate through and give it a try. Then go back to presentations the following year. This may help keep it interesting each year.
