In this scene Bucky goes to therapy with Dr. Raynor. They go over the rules of him making his amends.

Bucky is reluctant to talk about his past.

Bucky does not want to share his past because he is ashamed of what he did as the winter soldier. He is scared to tell Yori that he killed his son.

Bucky and Sam are in group therapy but neither want to talk.

In this scene it shows what men expressing themselves during therapy can mean and that it can help. They do an exercise called the miracle question. They are both joking around about it and mad at each other.

In the scene at the end where Sam is telling everybody about how he feels.

This scene is one of the best because Sam opens about not only how he feels but how millions of others also feel. Just because it wasn’t in a therapy session doesn’t mean the same rules don’t apply.

Bucky tells Sam how he feels about him giving up the shield

Bucky finally says that he is bothered that Sam gave up the shield. If he was wrong about giving Sam, the shield then he was wrong about Bucky
