Covid-19 has affected me, my family, friends, and school in ways that I couldn’t imagine. Life as we know it has changed. The way we interact with people has changed. Spending more time with my family has been an outcome that I otherwise wouldn’t have participated in. I also have come to realize that through this pandemic friendships have gotten me through pretty lonely times. Our school has put in new protocols that have changed the way I have been taught previously. This new environment has taken some time to get used to.

Our faith (for the most part, Christians) calls us to get involved with the difficulties that COVID-19 brings because that is what Jesus did. As followers of God, we are called to always care for those in need and care for our neighbors. Just like Jesus cared for the ill like the lepers, we are called to care for those in need during this pandemic.

I truly believe that my school or parish could do something about these issues. What I think would be the most effective way to combat these issues would be to educate all off the students/young youth.
