I use to hear my grandmas and my grandpas, talking to me in a caring voice, asking me have I ate or not. Or am I doing all right. I still hear those sounds but from different people, which is my parents. Still, everyone is unique in a special way. But I really missed them and their voice. I don't talk to them that much in phone because whenever I try to talk with them. I feel emotinal, their voices makes me cry.

I see the people in my home country trying to pass the soccer to the goal, they will even trip each other to cheat. It was wrong, but it is a joy to watch. I could smell the morning glory during playing, the purple caught my eyes every time and I forgot about the soccer.

When I play soccer in the U.S., I don't see my competitive people anymore. The delicate flowers and the sweet scent are not in the ground forevermore, nothing can draw my attention now.

The personal chaos I experienced when moving to the U.S. was losing access to the most important person in my life - my grandmother. Leaving her meant I would lose access to an ancient culture and knowledge about nutrition and food. It also meant I would slowly forget the native language of my home country because I could no longer hear her voice. My grandmother spoke a native dialect that even my parents could only understand but could not speak. I was hoping I would keep my grandmother's native dialect 'alive' and pass it to our next generation. But I couldn't do that when I immigrated to the U.S.

The most sound or view that I use to hear and was my favorite too.Was everyone of us sitting to table to eat breakfast and at the same time watching cartoons. Also, outside is snowing. Those were actually one of the joyfull moments in my life. Even though, it wasn't expensive hotel or house. I still feeled with loved seeing everyone in table. My aunt would call me after dinner. She would ask about my grade and the participation in the class.
