There you have my barkada, some signinficant friendshps, the LCLC, my siblings, my high school classes, my hobbies, my chikadora friends, and my parents of course.

My character as a person has a lot to do with the things i have shared with these people. I thank them a lot for being in my life, and for being someone to count on amidst everything.

I have become who I am right now, a student who is able to balance academics and extra-curricular activities, because I am motivated by diligence in my studies and industriousness in my contest preparations. I find these two aspects as the most significant moments in my student life because they drove me to become a better person.

These events motivate and push me into becoming a better person because they teach me the values of time management, diligence and hard work. Through academics and contests, I learned that aside from developing myself emotionally and psychologically, I have also learned to develop myself mentally. It is by this that I manifest my life motto, "aral, asal at dasal" because I balanced my studies and my contests while giving each of them ample time to focus on. While high school has played a big part in making me smile, cry, laugh, feel exhausted and angry and whatnot. As I met new people in JHS, each experience would lead me to a new lesson in life. Second, my Honors Class peers, one of the biggest turning points in my life is when I finally entered this section. Thus, enabling me to improve my attitude towards some aspects. Through these times, the Philippine Government also had a great impact on improving my life. Through them, I realized that indeed, life is cruel and that many people choose to remain silent because "speaking up" won't change anything or the fact that some people don't care about their surroundings. Unfortunately, they will only speak up if and only if they already experience firsthand the "cruelty" that the people are pointing out. To summarize it, the government made me realize that I should stick to my principles despite any circumstances. Most importantly, I realized my duty to "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy"(Proverbs 31:8-9). Lastly, this pandemic made me realize that I am a privileged person and that I should be grateful for everything that I have. Furthermore, this event also made me realize that I should work hard to obtain my dreams. And this motivation helped me achieve some of the biggest feats I've achieved throughout my whole life. This includes an inter-school contest in which we emerged as champions along with 2 other people ( you know who you are ;) ), and the most recent one, the Best Class Tech Beadle, which I received just this year. These events helped me grow better as a person because it taught me to thank the Lord for everything I've received, even the small things. Back when I was still a small kid, I was not that religious, but because of it, it taught me to be grateful for everything and also taught me to pray at least once a day. ;)

As long as I have lived my life, I have once become someone I’m not, afraid to be me. I became silent yet wanted to be loud. Someone that would like to be cherished but neglected. Someone that have convinced all lies to be truths and all truths to be lies. Someone whose mind has gone psycho because of the many pressures caused by her family.

As long as I have experienced, I have become someone that tried to evolve into something greater yet doubted if I’ll ever be. I have as well pretended that all my talents were failures and deserve lower than for what it is. I was being a little delusional Alice in my wonderland of adventures. Thinking these opportunities were common that I can go back later.

As long as I have realized, I tricked myself constantly. Played with my feelings unconsciously. I thought I was happy but I wasn’t actually.

I became my villain. A villain that pushed life as a fantasy. A villain who took everything for granted. A villain who never bat an eye and smiled living through the expectations of life.

Yet I never knew that due to my being a villain, I was as well evolving into my hero. A hero that can surpass all darkness with her scars after all treacherous deeds that she has committed. A hero whose strength wasn’t from those who gave her light but pain instead. I became my hero who learned as a villain.

All the adventures I had in my country to abroad were all given opportunities I turned into goals instead. All the doubts I had with my talents were my push to exceed greater than what I think of it instead. All the issues I had with my family were strengthening the bond we had. All the appreciation in my life was never from any light, it was from every heart-aching pressure instead.

I have become someone who embraces every twisted darkness in herself instead of someone who ignored them. I became someone scarred with tears of enlightenment. I became someone who, instead of blaming my shadows, thanks to them because through these I became someone better than just being best by the light.

Through this as well, I acknowledge the 5 Cs in my life from the darkness I have learned with. Chirst-centered in the way I never shone myself from believing in Him when I was down, Competent in living life with my own acknowledgements in life, Compassionate in the way I never excluded completely those around me and being able to forgive and thank to those who scarred me, Committed in being better than my best, as well as being Culturally -Integrated that after every visit and days of stay of a foreign place, never once was there a thought that I threw away my own blood. Truly, I became someone as "Me" from every significant event I experienced.

'Oh no the world has gone to sh-'. But now I would say the pessimism in my head is suppressed, it's still there, but I have more hope in humanity
and it's future all because I met these wonderful people in my life. I mean, I met my good friends in this world, and I was born in a family that loves me,
I experienced a lot in this universe and most of them were good, who am I to say the world has gone to 🤬?
