OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson students will be able to:
1. Identify the verbs in the past simple
2. Write sentences using past simple
3. Ask and answer what happend in the past.

The T introduces the lesson - PAST SIMPLE and present a Power Point presentation regarding the theory of the lesson. The Ss write in their notebooks the title. The T explains the rules of this tense and presents the irregular verbs. The Ss write them in their notebooks. After the Ss are used with the verbs, the T presents on the laptop a worksheet with expercises. The Ss have to complete the sentences with the correct verb on past simple. The T invites the Ss to participate in a speaking exercise The Ss are grouped in pairs of two and have to ask each other what they did the day before and to use minimum 5 verbes in past simple. The T gives the Ss homework to write 15 sentences using past simple.
