         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. The AFP will need to figure out where the drugs came from, who organised everything and to find out where the drugs had come from. The national response to the drug problem is an integrated one, involving law enforcement, health, prevention, education and treatment services. The AFP will deal with this scenario through the use of supply reduction and harm reduction, which includes a renewed emphasis on prevention. From a law enforcement perspective, although the mandate is to reduce the supply of illicit drugs to the Australian community, the AFP's focus is very much on prevention and partnerships with colleagues nationally and internationally.<br><br>2. The Intelligence-led policing approach will be taken as it is crime fighting that is guided by effective intelligence gathering and analysis.<br><br>3.&nbsp; Drug misuse and trafficking Act 1985<br><br>4. The AFP aims to disrupt transnational criminal syndicates operating offshore to ensure that illicit drugs are seized at the earliest opportunity, thereby reducing the supply to Australia. The AFP will communicate with the partner agencies to have any information regarding the matter of drugs forwarded to them as their agenda is surrounded by crime fighting.</div>]]></description>
