I used to think that I just need to follow the teacher's guide to plan my lessons.
Now I think it is important to adapt my lessons to suit the needs of my students.

Then, I used to brush off weak students as being lazy and 'unteachable'. Now, I am learning to be more patient and help them at their pace towards realistic goals.

Seeing the responses from the staff (concentrating around Level 5-7),
Now I think there's still a lot to be done to develop the teachers' competencies and confidence in themselves. The swiss roll must take centre stage, beyond academic learning. Only then can our espoused vision of 'Firm Foundations, Future Learnings' be truly enlivened.
