As the show progresses, Bruce ends up being curious about the mystery of his parents murderer. His parents were great people and parents. When they got murdered, Bruce was not the same person after that. Because of that event, his life turns into a journey to become Batman. His butler, Alfred, was basically family to Bruce. He raised him after his parents died and was basically the only family he had. In the show, Alfred serves as a person who advises Bruce in life in general. He helps him make decisions and plays a big part in becoming Batman.
